Ambika Agrawal, BMSc, MD, CCFP, DPD
Family Physician with Advanced Training in Dermatology

Dr. Ambika Agrawal is a Canadian-trained physician who is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. She received her Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Alberta, where she earned several awards for academic scholarship and research. She completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta, co-authoring publications and presenting research focused on hypertrophic scarring, and participated in clinical training alongside various plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Driven by a passion for medical education, she also led multiple clinical and procedural skills workshops for her peers and incoming medical students.
Dr. Agrawal completed her family medicine residency at the University of Calgary, subsequently earning a postgraduate diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction from Cardiff University. Related to her interest in global health, she also completed an Enhanced Skills residency through the University of Toronto, where she gained specialized exposure to tropical and infectious diseases, worked with diverse populations, and supported teaching initiatives both in Ethiopia and locally at the University of Toronto.
At DeerFields Clinic, Dr. Agrawal applies a proactive and preventive approach to skin health. Her practice focuses on treatment of skin-related disorders, the long-term maintenance of skin vitality, and advanced skin cancer screening integrating Optima Scan AI-powered 3D total body photography for precise mole mapping and early lesion detection.
