Dr. Eric Duncan performs Civil Aviation Medical Examinations. Dr. Duncan was an undergraduate in the University of Bristol, England, from 1973 to 1979. He obtained an Honours BSc in Pharmacology in 1976 and completed his medical degrees MB ChB, in 1979.
Dr. Duncan pursued higher surgical training in various hospitals in Bristol and Manchester, England, between 1979 and 1984. He obtained a Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh FRSC (Ed), in 1984.
Dr. Duncan then undertook postgraduate training in neurosurgery in Toronto and Ottawa, between 1985 and 1991. He obtained a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons FRCS(c), in 1991 with a specialist certification in the practice of neurosurgery.
In 1991, Dr. Duncan joined the medical staff of the Mississauga Hospital as a consultant neurosurgeon where he continues his clinical practice. He has a particular interest in the management of spinal conditions.
In 2009, Dr. Duncan completed training for a Private Pilot License (PPL). He was appointed a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner (CAME), in 2011. In 2016, Dr. Duncan obtained his Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
